Not sure about continuing with your studies?

Not fitting in? Struggling? Not sure you can pass? Not sure you're on the right course? Lacking motivation? If you're not confident about your studies, the Progression Advice Team is there to offer advice.

How we can help you

We understand that students often encounter difficulties during their studies. We will support you to progress in your chosen course of study.

We are part of a holistic support network and can offer tailored advice to:

  • identify areas where you may be struggling
  • advise you on the options that are available to you
  • recommend appropriate support
  • help you to understand relevant University regulations and procedures

Even though responsibility for your education remains with you, we are here to help you to make your student experience as successful and enjoyable as possible.

Important note

We are a small team. Please contact us at least four hours in advance if you are unable to keep an appointment. This is so that we can use the time to support other students.

If you are more than fifteen minutes late for an appointment, you will not be able to see the adviser on that day and must re-book an appointment. At busy times, this could delay our ability to see you by several days or even weeks. To avoid frustration, please arrive on time to ensure your support is not delayed unnecessarily.
