  • The University runs free bus services between the sites of our Pontypridd campus

Bus Excursions and Day Trips

The USW1World trips programme organises excursions and day trips, some by coach, some by train or other transport methods, throughout the year. These are not free, but the costs are kept at a minimum. If you’d like to go on an outing and be social, why not go along?

Freshers’ Buses

The Students’ Union usually offers a bus service for Freshers’ Fair, and sometimes buses for club nights.

Supermarket Shuttle Buses

Several supermarkets offer free bus services which are not affiliated to the University but may be useful to students.

  1. The bus operator N.A.T. Group lists these free services online by region on the N.A.T. Bus Network pages.
  2. Look for the ASDA Free Bus, Sainsbury Free Bus or Tesco Free Bus in your area.
  3. These tend to be listed near the bottom of the page! The listing is alphabetical and these bus lines don’t have a number.
