Some very popular library items are designated ‘high demand’ which means they can only be borrowed for a maximum of 3 days at a time. This is thought to be a fair way of making sure all students have a chance to access essential texts given the finite resources (and therefore limited number of copies of each book) the library has to work with. The library has recently observed that some traditionally high demand texts and subject areas are becoming less popular, so has asked for this poll as a way of getting feedback on the issue.
