- Enrolment is the process of registering as a student of the University. Once you have enrolled, you are officially a student.
- Enrolment is a contract between you and the University. When you enrol, you sign up to all the University’s Terms & Conditions
- All students are required to complete enrolment at the start of each academic session
- Online enrolment is followed by an induction process which takes place on campus. Inductions are a week of sessions and updates that prepare you for the academic year.
Home and EU students
The online enrolment service allows home and EU students to complete the enrolment process online. See the Online Enrolment page on the Student Administration website for details and guidance.
International Students (outside the EU)
International students are subject to personalised checks on campus before they can enrol online. See International Students Enrolment Information.
Can I enrol now?
You will receive an email when you are able to enrol, and if you have a UniLife account you will see banners on the UniLife homepage.
If you’re a new student please visit Getting Started for full enrolment information.
Once you are able to enrol, please do so promptly.
You will not be enrolled at the University until you have completed online enrolment. If you don’t complete enrolment, then, after teaching has started, your account will be suspended and you will need to speak with a member of the administrative team to re-enable your account.
My coursemates can re-enrol already, why can’t I?
There are several possible reasons why you may be unable to enrol yet. Please see Student Administration’s Why can’t I enrol? page.
What happens after enrolment?
Following enrolment you will be required to collect your Student ID card and attend induction sessions, which provide you with further information regarding studying at the University. Please see your Induction Timetable for more information.
