This term’s competition on Glamlife is all about using Glamlife’s subscription options. Many of you already subscribe to Glamlife channels, but when we ask quick poll questions, there are always some students who are quite unaware.

So, for this competition, we decided to change that. To be in with a chance of winning, all you need to do is subscribe to Glamlife channels for a week and watch the Glamlife home page closely. Once you are subscribed, you’ll be able to see special competition announcements – email us the text of those announcements to enter the competition. If, at the end of the competition period, you are not happy with all your subscriptions, you can unsubscribe easily from the ones you aren’t interested in.

But what are “Glamlife channels”? Well, Glamlife is more than just a home page. Your student portal contains a central reference area – the Glamlife Directory –and various Glamlife channels. Glamlife channels are small websites produced and edited by different departments of the University. They produce news, list events, and some can post announcements. If you are subscribed to a channel, you get their news and announcements on your Glamlife home page.
